Superheroes are some of the most popular designs that we paint. I was reminded of this the other day while I was painting at a shopping center. A small boy came to my station, showed me his homemade cape, and asked that I paint a superhero mask on him. His mom looked at me and motioned for me to lean in so that she could whisper in my ear while he climbed into my chair. “It’s his nap blanket for preschool,” she giggled. I was thrilled to see this sweet mom encouraging her son to let his imagination soar! So, he’s wearing a blanket to the mall...You only live once! These precious moments of childhood go by too quickly! This little hero told me what colors he liked and we got to work. When I finished painting him, he was so convincing I found myself checking to make sure he was stepping down from my chair and not trying to fly!!!

Our superpower is to encourage young imaginations through the faces we paint. Our best moments are when your child looks into the mirror and becomes the painted character they see reflected back at them. That is why we do what we do. ❤️

Restaurants around the Dallas Fort Worth area are always busy. The population in the Dallas area has doubled in the last few years, and with that comes the increased traffic through some of our most favorite restaurants. Business is booming! Many metroplex restaurants have partnered with schools, athletic programs and other civic organizations in order to raise money for their organization. The process and proceeds for each restaurant organization are different, but one of the common denominators in their family nights, school nights, etc -  is the need for entertainment. 

That's where we come in! We have enjoyed working all around the metroplex and spreading fun through the restaurant community! We just had to share this little face at a Whataburger event! They have great fundraiser programs set up for schools.

One of our favorite moments of the face painting experience is the moment when we show a child (or an adult) their painted face in a mirror. This mirror magic is a joyful surprise to the young ones who imagine themselves as a butterfly, a tiger, a princess - or anything else that they want to be! Are you planning a Halloween party? One thing that can add pizzazz to your event is a face painter!

Masks
Many guests will show up with makeup on, but several will show up in masks. One thing any Dallas- Fort Worth resident discovers after just 10 minutes in a mask is that it's HOT. It's just too hot (even at the end of October) in Dallas to wear a mask for any length of time and still enjoy the people around you! Visibility is low and passing food/drink through whatever mouth hole in the mask is awkward at best. A face painter can match the theme of just about any costume and free your guest from the constraints if a well-intentioned mask.

Moms and Fun
How many times have you seen Moms in your group take meticulous care of their children's costume choices while putting their own participation on the back burner?
