Our Story

Hi. My name is Sharon Hodges and I am the founder of Your Enchanted Face.  When I opened this company 20 years ago, I had one vision in mind. I wanted to bring the BEST event art to party hosts throughout DFW and make memories that last. That vision still guides me today. 

When I started, I was working in corporate America, and looking for an artistic outlet.  One of my cousins was in the entertainment industry and encouraged me to try it.  After a LOT of training, I began performing in the children's entertainment sector.  In the beginning, I did everything from performing birthday shows to twisting balloons. Very soon, though, I discovered that face painting was my true passion.  Soon, I dropped everything else and focused solely on face and body painting.  Eventually, (and to my own surprise) I found myself to be the recipient of a world championship and the phone rang more than ever!  At this point, I decided it was time to grow. 

Since then, I have gathered a tight team of like-minded, talented face painters to join the vision. I personally search for and recruit the very best artists in the DFW area and bring them to you at a fair rate.  You will notice that Your Enchanted Face has expanded to include temporary tattoos and caricatures!  These artists are also carefully selected by me to be a part of our entertainment group. I only work with:

1.  Artists who are experienced/highly skilled in their disciplines
2.  Artists who genuinely enjoy people
3.  Artists who relish bringing color and creativity to events

When I send a visual entertainer to your event, I know that they will be a part of making memories and I consider it an honor to be chosen!
